Quality healthcare is still not affordable in India when compared to several economies of the West or Asia. Successive governments have been working on this goal and achieving results too. In 1999, Kauvery Hospital started a 30-bed hospital in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. The hospital’s mission from day one was to make excellent healthcare affordable.

Health care is a basic need and the right of every person. Our country has a huge population and healthcare is a constant need. According to research conducted by WHO, our country needs 80,000 more hospital beds every year to meet and keep up with our healthcare demands.
