Restart Heart Foundation: Addressing the Issue of Cardiac Arrest
On the occasion of World Heart Day, Kauvery Hospital launched Restart Heart Foundation, an initiative to address the rising Cardiac Arrest and to educate the community on prevention and equip them with skills on basic life support.
Through the foundation, AED machines, a portable device that delivers shock to help revive the heart rhythm of someone who suffers cardiac arrest, until an ambulance arrives, were installed.
The AED booths were installed at Semmozhi Poonga, Tidel Park and Vivekandhar Illam
